Wedding Guest Fashion

When it comes to wedding season there are no steadfast rules (except wearing white) but one thing is for sure, this season’s trends have produced some amazing looks for you to strut your stuff down the church aisle or on the dancefloor. Our personal stylist and resident fashionista, Linsey Lindley, has trawled our stores for her favourite pieces for your 2017 wedding diary.

Flower power

Summer weddings are my favourite because you can forget the tights, bare your legs and go bold in florals. Ted Baker continues to nail the summer season and this dress and overcoat have got us like a blushing bride. It might be white but the florals mean you won’t clash with the woman of the day. Another favourite spotted this week is from Klass, which has done subtle florals ideal for the sophisticated look. Have some fun and pair with pops of colour like this deep red bolero, also from Klass, and these gorgeous Kurt Geiger heels – a steal at under £50!

Timeless looks

No one does timeless classics quite like Jacques Vert and I love this gorgeous matching two piece; a bargain at under £200 for the full outfit. It’s a perfect year long look because you can easily match the two separates with different looks. I love the deep purple and pink shades which keep it feminine but not too girly. Finish off your look with the Jacques Vert matching heels and bag. If florals aren’t for you this cream dress and jacket from Jacques Vert is the perfect outfit, you can match it with so many colours. For mothers of the bride why not match your accessories to the bridesmaids dresses.

Something blue

It might be a rhyme made for brides, but there is nothing stopping you from going blushing blue when it comes to wedding fashion. It looks great on any skin tone, especially with a tan! I love this chic Roman print dress with just the right amount of flower power. Pair with these classic Kurt Geiger stilettoes (and bang on trend bows) to look simply stunning. Finish the look with a sparkly bag for added glam! A great alternative to the classic black and white monochrome look is this gorgeous navy and white Phase Eight number. It’s understated and elegant with the right amount of lace to give your look an edge. It’s a perfect day guest look, or Mother of the Bride. You can even get a matching fascinator so there’s no need to colour-match.
